My name is Tom, and I am a software developer, professionally since 2010, but my adventure with programming started much earlier. I mainly code in Java, and I really like this language. I’m also Oracle Certified Professional since 2015.
Currently, I am a backend developer at one of the software companies in the medical industry. Little more about it you will find in the Projects section. Regardless of the work, I think about myself as a creative person, and after hours I’m often focusing on my side project - Keepmark, or experimenting with various programming concepts.
Like many experienced developers I pay attention to the quality and readability of the code, but because I also have a little contact with “the business” I am aware that it must also provide business values and achieving perfection is usually not cost-effective.
On this site you will find couple imperfect articles in which I discuss various issues related to programming and topics I have to face every day. Perhaps some of them will be helpful to you as well.
Like you, I probably don’t know everything and you may have more knowledge than me. So if you notice any ambiguities, or errors in my texts, or just something you like, share it with me - mail (a) tchudyk.com
. You can also find me on LinkedIn or Github.
I’m also a big fan of privacy, creativity and Linux. This last one I have been using as my main operating system for about 20 years. But I have heard that there are also people who use other operating systems :)
