Why did I make it?

I wanted something straightforward that gets the job done without flashy features or complicated menus. A small app that feels like a handy sidekick when I’m preparing content to publish.

Who is PxSlim for?

For anyone who needs to get images ready for the web without losing too much quality or waiting forever. Bloggers, content creators, or just people like me who want a no-fuss way to slim down photos before posting.

How does it work?

I didn’t reinvent the wheel here — PxSlim uses existing compression tools running locally on your computer. That means your images never leave your machine. No uploads, no cloud, no third parties. Just you and your files.

What can PxSlim do?

Compare images

Let you see your original image side-by-side with the compressed one — so you know exactly what’s changed.

Adjust quality

Give you control over how much quality you want to keep with an easy slider.

Image conversion

Switch your files between JPG, PNG, and WEBP formats.

Drop or use clipboard

Make adding images super simple — drag & drop, paste from clipboard, or open whole folders.

Save or copy

Save the optimized files or just copy them to the clipboard for quick pasting.

Themes

Toggle between light and dark mode — because sometimes your eyes need a break.

Give it a try!

Just drop your images in, move the quality slider around, and watch the file sizes shrink. You’ll see the difference right away and can save or copy the result however you want. I hope PxSlim helps you as much as it’s helped me.
